Viper Queen - Munich City Nights (LP)

VIPER QUEEN, formed in 2019, deliver sleazy hard rock from Munich/Germany. Across these nine songs, the five-piece proves that this kind of sound doesn't necessarily have to come from the USA. They offer honest, authentic music that revives and celebrates late-80s stadium rock. The opener, "Undercover Lover," takes no prisoners right from the start, while "Call Of The Viper" serves as the perfect signature track for the band led by frontman John Hall. Fans of RAILWAY, (early!) VICE, BONFIRE or HOTWIRE should definitely take note. A strong debut! (MS)
