Gabrielle De Val - I Am The Hammer (CD)

German-born GABRIELLE DD VAL, who lives in Spain now, is very busy. She released a fine cover album recently and her powerful debut "Kiss In A Dragon-Night" i(2023) is also pretty fresh. But here is already album number two with fourteen new tracks. "I Am The Hammer" is beautiful, melodic rock with charismatic vocals and cool hooks as well as some epic moments, too. Gabrielle teamed up with Tommy Denander (g, RADIOACTIVE) again, who also produced and mixed the material. Reliable songs to check out first are the wonderful "Prince Of Darkness" and the rather contemporary sounding "Show Me Heaven". Without doubts, a fantastic album! (MS)
