Neptune - End Of Time (CD)

"End Of Time"NEPTUNE from Sweden put out their debut only in 2020 but go way back to the eighties as they recorded an EP in 1986. The new album "End Of Time" is partly epic, pretty heavy but constantly melodic. The melodic metal outfit tell stories of vikings and decisive battles without being too much  cliche. The ovious influences like JUDAS PRIEST or ACCEPT ("Sun Goes Down") are easily recognizable here but also more ""contempory" artists such as SABATON ("Motherland") or ENBOUND left their mark for sure. Everything is produced with a lovely passion for details. Attack! (MS)
