Masterplan - Metalmophosis (CD)

MASTERPLAN with their first new material since 2013 (!). "Metalmorphosis" absolutely sounds like a MASTERPLAN album and that alone is pretty cool after such a break. The massive, bombastic sound and slightly progressive arrangements of the band around mastermind Roland Grapow (g, Ex-HELLOWEEN) and Rick Altzi (v, GATHERING OF KINGS) are comparatively unique. Mighty melodies ("Electric Nights") and epic soundscapes ("Pain Of Yesterday") wait for you. Lovers of STRATOVARIUS, HAMMERFALL or even EVERGREY will be delighted here and should make sure there is space in the collection! It's worth it! (MS)
