Trishula - Becoming The Enemy (CD)

TRISHULA from England with album number four and mastermind Neil Fraser (g, ex-TEN, RAGE OF ANGELS) and the guys play coool melodic hard rock which is far away from party music and also not as dark as the (fine) artwork might suggest on first glimpse. Energetic rockers like "Wardance (Long Live The Rising)" or "The Walls Of Eden" are next to ballads ("The Long Goodbye") or epuc stuff ("Hold My Hand"). Beautiful guitar solos which always suit the song can be found throughout the record. TRISHULA might step up the ladder of success as deserved for a long time with this output and not only because  Jason Morgan's voice is outstandig and versatile. (MS)
