SALTY DOG recorded a live album in 1992, which now, let's say with a little bit of delay, finally sees the light of day. The American hard rockers around guitarist and main songwriter Pete Reveen played a gig in in California in March 1992 with their second singer Darrel Beach. But the show also featured original frontman Jimmi Bleacher on two songs. The track "Bring It On", though, has never been recorded in a studio and was played live only. An authentic and powerful sound and basically no talking to puts the focus on the music only on this recording. References can be GREAT WHITE, TESLA or Y&T. (MS)
