Hailing from Bahrain (!), the progressive rock band OSIRIS, active since 1980, can certainly be considered a true rarity. "Within A Dream" and its five tracks, which clock in at just under an hour, offer a dazzling display of atmosphere, melody and technical prowess. Fans of neo-prog acts like MARILLION, PENDRAGON, ARENA or RPWL will thoroughly enjoy this release. Crystal-clear production, a fine vocalist in Syed Ahmed Rawanbakhsh plus sophisticated, multi-layered songwriting make this an album that demands true attention. A fantastic record! (MS)
