Scar Chamber - Ugly On The Inside (CD)

Founded by guitarist Ron Freschi (BABYLON A.D.) and vocalist Jeff Winslow, SCAR CHAMBER deliver fine melodic (hard) rock in the vein of BABYLON A.D., LYNCH MOB, HEAVEN'S EDGE, and HAREM SCAREM. "Ugly On The Inside" features eleven tracks, some of which are rather dark and pretty raw. "Alive In The Real World". for instance, combines a strong chorus with gritty hard rock. Another highlight is the title track, which captures the spirit and sound of early HAREM SCAREM. Hopefully, SCAR CHAMBER have plenty more in store, as this debut is more than promising. (MS)
