Vambo - II (CD)

The British classic rockers VAMBO present their second album simply titled "II". Simply to claim that Led Zeppelin meet here with Greta Van Fleet and the Rival Sons to the wedding, would be simply too simple thought. The work competently produced by Ray Stiles (Hollies, Mud) is despite the youthfulness of the band a mature, varied silver disc, which can shine through highlights such as the groovy "Shadows" and the smooth "Christine". In general, the songwriting is one of the strengths, along with the great voice of singer Jack Stiles and the Jimmy Page-influenced guitar work of Pete Lance. An album that fans of the above bands will enjoy!
