No Favors - The Eleventh Hour (CD)

British band NO FAVORS have started in the eighties already but for whatever reasons, they never put out a longplayer. Their fresh - and that's not a contradiction whatsoever - classic rock incorporates classic NWOBHM elements as well as solid hard rock sounds which will appeal to fans of DEMON, SAXON or SARACEN and the like. Founding member Carl Ogden (g) and the boys fully deliver. The lyrics are dealing with current topics and the mighty guitars are really remarkable. Check out the anthem-like "Wild Days" or the rough opener "The Monkey Are In Charge Of The Zoo". (MS)
