Hurricane - Over The Edge + Take What You Want (2CD)

The first two HURRICANE records "Take What You Want" (1985), a 6-track mini LP, and "Over The Edge" (1988), produced by Bob Ezrin (ALICE COOPER), are re-issued on a double-decker. HURRICANE, for whatever reason, has always been an under-estimated group despite the excellent vocals by Kelly Hansen, who until recently sang in FOREIGNER, and Tony Cavazo's fine guitars made fans of the genre smile with their American-flavored melodic hard rock. "Over The Edge" is slightly more diverse stylistically and offers a strong cover version of ALICE COOPER's "I'm Eighteen". Both albums are remastered and without doubt essentiell to every serious collection. (MS)
