Tyketto - Closer To The Sun (CD) Digipack

TYKETTO around American frontman Danny Vaughn (ex WAYSTED) with a new album, the first actually since the 2016 "Reach". Stylistically somewhere between WHITESNAKE, AEROSMITH and THUNDER and equipped with mighty melodies, the five-piece easily manages to showcase its qualities. The ROXETTE cover "Harleys & Indians (Riders In The Sky)" is a surprise at first glimpse but fits perfectly among ear-candy tracks like "We Rise" or "Starts With A Feeling". The production is energetic and contemporary but not modern whatsoever. But on top of all, you find Vaughn in great shape vocally. (MS)
