PRIVATE LIFE from America rerelease their two albums "Shadows" (1989) and "Private Life" (1990). Frontwoman Kelly Breznik and the guys, who are expierenced players of e.g. ROD STEWART, AXIS or BADFINGER fame. They present pretty catchy and keyboard-ladden AOR which takes the listener by storm. There is definitely some (late eighties) HEART and VIXEN in their sound. The second album is slightly more hard rock and produced by none other than Eddie van Halen. Real female-fronted rock gems! Tracks like "Touch" or "Put Out The Fire" would be a great fit on every eighties film soundtrack in the vein of "Top Gun". 2 albums on 1 CD! (MS)
