Mad Max - Heavy Metal (CD) Digipak

German band MAD MAX from Münster put out their first lifesign in form of the 4-track-EP "In Concert" in 1981, followed by their legendary debut "Heavy Metal" one year later. Both are rereleased now. It's a pretty vivid mixture of DOKKEN, ACCEPT and MÖTLEY CRÜE., though The band around guitarist Jürgen Breforth still plays with Andreas Baesler here, who got replaced after the debut by Michael Voss. Tracks like "Night Train To Paris", "Piece Of Cake" oder "Barbarians" are simply fun even decades later. Great opportunity to complete the collection. (MS)
