Dark Mile - Freight Train (CD)

Right from the start, DARK MILE sound like ZZ TOP on steroids but also a lot of QUIET RIOT is in their sound. The Americans around guitarist Tracy G (DIO) offer an energetic and rough voice in Mark Huff (QUIET RIOT). The title track of their sophomore album alone unmistakably point out the direction of the record. Finest hard rock and metal with balls and energetic riffing as well as a powerful rhythm section is what you get here. Apart from the mighty title track, the powerful but slower "All I Wanna Be Is You" provides quite a good first impression. (MS)
