Jeff Cosco & Don Mancuso - Stuff From Beers Ago (CD)

American singer-songwriter JEFF COSCO is currently the focus of the "MelodicRockClassics" series. "Stuff From Beers Ago", created over an extended period in collaboration with his sidekick Don Macuso (g), dates back to the 1980s and is the first of three recent reissues from the artist. The album delivers quintessential AOR, featuring prominent keyboards on tracks like "Call Of The Eagle" but also packing a solid rock punch on songs like "Princess Of Darkness", in the vein of bands such as SURVIVOR, ORION THE HUNTER, or STRANGEWAYS. Limited to 500 copies and remastered, as always, by JK Northrup. (MS)
