Mai Rouge - Take It Or Leave It & More Takes (CD)

"Take It Or Leave It & More Takes" by the British melodic rock band MAI ROUGE contains the five tracks from their only official EP (released in 1990) along with eight additional songs from the years that followed, encompassing the entire body of work from this short-lived group. Formed a year prior to the EP, the four-piece band possessed all the essential ingredients: strong songwriting, impressive musicianship and high-energy vocals. Volume 34 of the "Lost UK Jewels" series is a prime selection for fans of classic British melodic rock, in the vein of bands like PRAYING MANTIS, LIONHEART, BLU BLUD, STRATUS or LITTLE ANGELS. Collectors will already know what to do. Limited to 500 copies and with enhanced booklet. (MS)
