City Of Lights - City Of Lights (CD)

CITY OF LIGHTS and their wonderful, uncompromising AOR effortlessly make the hearts of fans of melodic sounds in the vein of CREYE, DEGREED, CARE OF NIGHT or SILENT TIGER beat faster. Bandleader Neil Austin (g), vocalist Manos Fatsis and Nathan Doyle (g) the DEGREED brothers Robin (b) and Mats (g) fire out one anthem after another (such as "Never Looking Back" or "One More Night") while also proving capable of striking a quieter chord (as on "Learn To Live"). Guest keyboard duties are handled by Mikael Blanc (DEGREED), among others. With this second album, CITY OF LIGHTS, a dynamic English-Greek-Swedish collaboration, has firmly established itself in the top tier of purebred AOR. A perfect 10! (MS)
