DUKE JUPITER play melodic hard rock and here you get the last two studio albums of the band which was active in the seventies and eighties. "White Knuckle Ride" (1984) and "The Line Of Fire" (1985) are rereleased freshly remastered and with an extended, new booklet. Whereas the earlier album had a little bit of funk to it, here radio-friendly (arena) rock reigns. Unbelievable that they didn't really make it back in the day. This double-decker is a really good addition to every serious collection. HUEY LEWIS AND THE NEWS might be something of reference for the sound, though. (MS)
