Magnum - Wings Of Heaven (CD)

British hard rockers MAGNUM were on one of their many career peaks in 1988. With only thirty-three minutes running time, this iconic album is a wonderful piece of art with indisputable band classics like "Days Of No Trust", "Wild Swan" or "Start Talking Love". The quite polished sound on "Wings Of Heaven" perfectly suits the given time. But still Tony Clarkin (g) and Bob Catley (v) and the guys still rock whereever needed. The closing eleven-minute-monster "Don’t Wake The Lion (Too Old To Die Young)" is an absolute fan favorite, though. A must-have! (MS)
