The first new studio album of 38 SPECIAL, legendary American hard rock band with certain Southern influences, in more than twenty years. "Milestone" with its nine songs is comparatively short but you also get no fillers whatsoever. Tracks like "Slightly Controversial" with TRAIN guesting or "All I Haven't Said" sound fresh and traditional at the same time because you get all the qualities of the five-piece here. Charismatic vocals and fantastic guitars to mention only two. Everything is wrapped in a first-class production, though. Thumbs up! (MS)
