"Cloud 10" and "Send Her To Me" are two collections of yet unreleased demos of the Americans AUTOGRAPH around frontman Steve Plunkett. And they sound awesome! The production is almost as good as on the regular releases of the glam and hard rock outfit. Some but by far not all of the songs, mostly recorded back in 1983 are to be found on "Sign In Please" (1984) and "That's The Stuff" (1985) in different versions and arrangements. Highlights are "Angel In Black", "One Way Dead End Street" and "My Girlfriends Boyfriend Isn’t Me". This collection illustrates the evolution of the band pretty well. (MS)
