Alicate - Heaven Tonight (CD)

ALICATE with album number four. A mature, emotional melodic rock record with some WHITESNAKE ("Heaven Tonight" or "Ride The Storm") and MAGNUM moments ("You're Gone"). The previous effort "Butterfly" (2022) has been really good but this one is even better. The Swedish outfit around Jonas Erixon (v/g) fully convinces with top class songwriting and interesting arrangements. A fine and authentic production as well as very sophisticated guitars for the given genre can be found. You can't ask for much more actually. Additional songs to check out first are "Under The Gun" and "Dangerous". (MS)
