Jimi Jamison - 1998 Live Hits (CD)

SURVIVOR wrote music history with JIMI JAMISON on vocals, who also fronted TARGET and COBRA. For instance, "Vital Signs" (1984) is magic. The previously unreleased "1998 Live Hits" is a wonderful live document with one of the best, if not THE best singer in melodic rock and AOR with a strong backing band. Mentioning individual tracks doesn't really make sense here as all ten SURVIVOR songs as well as his solo tracks "I'm Always Here" and "Rock Hard" plus THE DOORS cover "Riders On The Storm" are immortal. The sound throughout is pretty solid. Simply beautiful. Thanks for the music, Jimi! (MS)
