A new HEAVY PETTIN' album? Yes, finally! After three decades here it is. New songs of the Scottish outfit around frontman Stephen „Hamie“ Hayman. "Rock Generation bridges the gap between typical eighties hard rock and the here and now. There are little SAXON moments here and there, though, but mostly the arena rock compositions are timeless and catchy at the same time. Let alone "Line In The Sand", "X-Rated" and the title track shine. A very nice surprise for all lovers of rock, this album is, which also comes with a strong production. HEAVY PETTIN' definitely still got it! (MS)
