Silver Horses - Electric Omega (CD)

SILVER HORSES and their history is quite interesting. Founded in 2011 with Tony Martin (v, ex BLACK SABBATH), who is replaced in this third effort by Jacopo Jack Meille, who fronts TYGERS OF TAN TANG for almost two decades by now, this album rocks. This Italian-English collaboration sees a mixture of brandnew tracks and some re-arranged songs from MANTRA, a band which saw Meille and Gianluca Galli (g) playing together many, many moons ago. The classic hard rock here goes way back to the seventies for sure but comes with a fresh, contemporary and powerful twist in terms of production. (MS)
