American band BABYLON A.D., founded already in 1987, put out album nmber six. They do so pretty quick after their last on in 2024 ("Rome Wasn’t Built In A Day"). Similar to GREAT WHITE, AUTOGRAPH, KIX or RATT. The half-ballad "Don't Ask Questions" or the emotional rocker "The Damage Is Done" are reliable first glimpses. Mastermind Derek Davies (v/g) is responsible for the production, too. "Love Is Cruel" surprises with a touch of THE BEATLES, whereas "Toxic Baby" immediately transports the listener onto the legendary Sunset Stripp in L.A.. (MS)
