Hydra - ReHydration (CD)

HYDRA from Sweden put out a new album, the follow-up to the amazing "Point Break" (2022), which is nothing but great AOR of the finest sort. Henrik Hedström, Songwriter and keyboarder in this project, Daniel Flores (dr, MURDER OF MY SWEET, ANGELICA, FIND ME), Jonny Trobro (b) and Andi Kravljaca (v/g, SEVENTH WONDER, AEON ZEN) fire out beautiful songs you have to embrace if you like ear candy. There are elements of Westcoast in there, too, but a lot of rocking moments as well which is the icing of the cake, though. What a record! Just check out "We Belong". (MS)
