Mason - Seconds To Impact +2 (CD)

MASON with album number two. Canadian Marcus Mason (v/g) once again delivers pretty decent melodic rock on "Seconds To Impact", providing lots of eighties vibes, too. Some guests like Rick Mead (g, HELIX) oder Markus Pfeffer (g, BARNABAS SKY) can be found and fine melodies like "Hard To Tame" shine. The level of songwriting has improved preyy much compared to the debut "I Can’t Wait" (2024). Additional hint for a first impression is the catchy "All I Ever Wanted". Probably not a future classic but nevertheless worth checking out if you are into the very genre. Comes with two bonus cuts. (MS)
