Polution - Call To Mind (CD)

Swiss hard rock simply is a reliable force. POLUTION and their third output "Call To Mind", the first in more than ten years actually, is typical but very cool and riff-orientated hard rock. Frontman Pascal Gwerder and the guys play totally under the radar outside their home country. The melodic "Bittersweet", for instance, sounds like an interesting cross between SHAKRA and VOLBEAT. Or the rather slow and ballad-like "Never "Let Go" with its strong hit potential is nothing but a real bummer. POLUTION definitely know all the elements of the genre. Massive! (MS)
