Rockroad - It's Never Too Late (CD)

A fine melodic record is "t's Never Too Late" from this outfit from the Philippines which was founded in 2010. On this debut, ROCKROAD play timeless music with stunning hooklines and very pleasant arrangements. Frontman Johnel Fortaleza offers a wide range in his voice. Just take MR.BIG, QUEEN, TOTO or even 91 SUITE as a reference, although this five-piece definitely showcases a certain signature sound. Undisputed highlight is the beautiful ballad "To Be Me". Radio friendly and well-produced sounds throughout the album! A nice surprise! Grab it! (MS)
