Niva - Stratospheric (LP)

NIVA from Sweden return with their seventh album. It’s a cool AOR/melodic rock hybrid with a strong rock edge. The distinctive vocals of frontman Tony Niva and the highly mature songwriting serve as true hallmarks of the band. Fans of LION'S SHARE, ZHIVA, ECLIPSE or TREAT will find plenty to enjoy on "Stratospheric." The album features ten consistently strong tracks with "Rock The World" and "Heaven Strikes Again" standing out as particular highlights and you simply can't go wrong with guitar work from Lars Chriss (LION'S SHARE), too. Furthermore, a subtle touch of classic rock permeates the record. Thumbs up! (MS)
