Cats in Space - Suit of Armour (CD digipak)

England’s CATS IN SPACE are arguably one of the most criminally underrated bands in the melodic rock genre, at least outside their home-country. With new additions Chris Childs (b, THUNDER, TYKETTO) and Sam Wood (g, BLACK STAR RIDERS, URIAH HEEP), their seventh album brings a breath of fresh air. The band’s signature opulent arrangements and meticulous, detail-oriented production remain firmly in place. The relatively laid-back "White Knight" and the more hard-rocking "Miracle" offer a solid first taste of what to expect. Their sound is deeply rooted in AOR and with Greg Hart, who is a truly fantastic vocalist, in the fold, what more could a fan of melodic and hard rock possibly ask for? There you go! (MS)
