Andy Qunta (pronounced “Kunta”) is a British songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who emigrated to Australia in 1982 and joined the cult band ICEHOUSE as a keyboardist. There, he co-wrote the hit single “Crazy,” among other songs, and also had a hand in John Farnham's mega-hit “You're The Voice.” He wrote songs for Manfred Mann’s Earthband (together with their singer Chris Thompson). In 1988, he was offered a solo deal and recorded the album “Legend In A Loungeroom” (1989) with top U.S. session musicians, featuring the best AOR material in the vein of Tom Kimmel, Brian Spence, Glen Burtnick, and Icehouse.
