KINGS RANSOM is a US band from the late 1980s that actually had the potential to take off as a slightly softer version of similar bands such as Queensryche or Fates Warning, but also as grandly as Rush. Frontman Scott Larick shines with an extremely powerful and multifaceted voice. Musically, KING'S RANSOM were definitely softer than the bands mentioned above—fans of melodic hard rock should definitely enjoy them. A lost gem! (BS)
