Necko - Necko II (CD)

An energy-ladden hard rock trio from Sydney/Australien that obviously learned from (and understood!) the old classics and blueprints of the genre give you eleven new songs. There are for instance AC/DC, WISHBONE ASH or even THE WHO influences around. "You Don't Gotta Be Alone Anymore" is reminicent of the sound of GRETA VAN FLEET, though. The sound in general bridges the gap from the good old days to the here and now. "Necko II" is basically the brainchild of frontman and guitarist Alek Necko. Australia and rock music is simply a really good match. (MS)
