Italian band NIGHTBLAZE around frontman extraordinaire Damiano Libianchi with their sophomore album after the 2024 debut. "State Of Grace" or "Tonight" provide quite a reliable glimpse into the world of NIGHTBLAZE, which is mostly melodic hard rock and AOR. There are moments similar to the sound of PINK CREAM 69 or LIONVILLE but nevertheless the songriting and the production, too, is pretty good and unique. The different mixes of some songs are a bit confusing at times, though, providing some synthwave material for instance. (MS)
