AILAFAR play pleasant melodic rock with female vocals. As uasual, the Greek band convinces the listener with beautiful melodies, sophisticated arrangements and partly angel-like vocals by frontwoman Tatiana Economou foremost on album number five. A really good first impression give the amazing "The Ghost Of You" and "Dancing For Keeps". Style-wise, the material is reminiscent of BAD SISTER, ERIKA or ROBIN BECK and the like. Comes with a (strong) bonus cut by the name of "Your Star Will Shine". AILAFAR deserve way more attention! They are a shining star! (MS)
