VAN STEPHENSON, American singer and songwriter from the ever-striving mecca of music Nashville, put out three regular studio albums. The third effort "Suspicious Heart" from 1986 is an excellent AOR piece from the peak time of the genre. At times reminiscent of RICK SPRINGFIELD, BRYAN ADAMS or STRANGEWAYS. Let alone the power ballad "Never Enough Night" or the cool "Dancing With Danger" shine. The powerful sound easily outplays the previous two albums.
