Shotgun Mojo - Shotgun Mojo (CD)

What might Dan Reed (vocals, DAN REED NETWORK) and Tommy Thayer (guitar, KISS) sound like together? Well, it’s certainly not your typical Frontiers-style hard rock/AOR project. It's rather a real treat for fans of Dan’s primary band. Robert Ikiz (drums) and Bengt Jonasson (bass) round out the lineup, and "Shotgun Mojo" is hopefully just the beginning of more to come. Brion James (DAN REED NETWORK) co-wrote the track "Funk Party." It’s a groovy, infectious sound that neither can nor wants to hide its clear 1970s roots. Other highlights worth checking out include the laid-back "Nothing To See Here" and a surprising cover of PHIL COLLINS’ "In The Air Tonight. (MS)
