Once again, a fine and worthwhile reissue from Bad Reputation. The French label has a knack for this and clearly boasts excellent connections. The 1987 AOR project BLUE YONDER, featuring singer-songwriter Sandy Stewart and guitarist David Munday, will appeal to fans of synth/lite AOR acts like MR.MISTER, DALBELLO, CUTTING CREW or ROMEOS DAUGHTER. It offers nine wonderful tracks that impressively demonstrate just how unbeatable this style of music was during the mid-to-late eighties. "House of Love" is reminiscent of ROBIN BECK and possesses massive hit potential. An essential album! (MS)
