Petra - Hope (CD)

PETRA put out new music for the first time in over twenty years. The new album "Hope" contains ten versatile compositions ranging from solid hard rock to a bit softer tunes. Like always with this outfit, the lyrics are meaningful and Christian which uplifts the music onto a totally new level. Just check out "We Rejoice In Hope" and "There Will Still Be A Dawn", which represent the album pretty well. They don't try to modernize their sound at any point but they reaffirm their strenghts impressingly. Great that PETRA is back! Amen! (MS)
