SOLDIER album number two, recorded end of the eighties, comes out along album number three "Stereo" with remastered sound and some bonus cuts for the first time ever officially. The Americans have been regulars on the vibrant live circuit on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles back in the day and were recording material constantly, too. The easy-going "Popeye" and the rocking "Long Long Way" are good starters here. Bands like RATT, ENUFF Z'NUFF or even HONEYMOON SUITE are good references here. A cool outfit that should have got way more attention back in the day. (MS)
