Making a follow-up to a successful album and actually doing so decades later isn't always a good idea, but here David Reece (v, ex-ACCEPT, ex-BONFIRE) fully delivers with "Rapid Fire Succession: On Target Part II". Wonderfully melodic tunes and the best, for sure, that the American put out ever since the 1992 "On Target". For instance "Driver's Seat", "Swimming With The Shark" or "Prisoner", too, provide fantastic hooklines and harmonies. You get some familiar faces in Andy Susemihl (g, ex U.D.O.) or Mario Perducani (g, HUNGRY HEART). A massive surprise! Cool! Great melodic hard rock and (rougher) AOR spread across 16 tracks! (MS)
