SHIRAZ LANE from Finland belong to the spear-head of fresh, brave and enormously talented bands in terms of sleaze and melodic rock. The guys around frontman Hannes Kett showcase a huge sense for cool hooklines and versatile arrangements. The pop-rocking but enery-driven opener "Stone Cold Lover" paves the way and the rest of the material, too, easily connect contemporary rock sounds with lots of mighty feel good vibes as well as a certain underlying nordic melancholy at times.
