Pink Cream 69 - Change (CD re-issue)

PINK CREAM 69 from Karlsruhe/Germany have been the hottest outfit in terms of melodic rock end of the eighties/early nineties in Germany. "Change", album number four, from 1995 marks a change in sound (for a certain period of time) and also a new era with a new frontman. After Andi Deris left towards HELLOWEEN, British singer David Readman took the mic and stayed ever since. The rather dark and in the context of the nineties logical sound surprisingly often doesn't lack the huge melodies the band has been known for. With a huge distance of time, it's actually an exciting album. Check out "Yesterdays" and "Only The Good" as well as the title track. (MS)
