Radio Silence – Whose Skin Are You Under Now (CD) Original Pressing

RADIO SILENCE is really singer and singwriter ALISTAIR GORDON’s own project. His selftitled (debut (1997) was a superb slice of poppy AOR with a hi-tech AOR vibe in the vein of MIKE & THE MECHANICS, SAGA and CUTTING CREW. The 2^nd album (“Sirens”, 2001) was pretty much a disappointment with as the songs were more rock based and didn’t stand out in the same way the first CD did. Well, this new CD can be placed somewhere in the middle of the previous two. Stylewise we’re looking at melodic rock/AOR with some turns into pop territory and a few hi-tech sounding synthesizers, but with a much stronger songwriting compared to the previous album “Sirens”. With a sound reminiscent of Canadian pop AOR outfits like GLASS TIGER, BOULEVARD or HONEYMOON SUITE this CD should attract all lovers of poppy 80s AOR.
