The Western Front - Eureka (CD) Digipack

THE WESTERN FRONT recorded this album forty (!) years ago which unbelievably remained shelved in some archives ever since. The two guitarists Scott Gorham (THIN LIZZY) und Marty Walsh (e.g. SUPERTRAMP, JOHN FOGERTY) and their team deliver strong material. "Eureka" offers atmosphere, emotions and really good hooks. This album delivers numerous songs that are reminiscent of the glory days of AOR but add their own ingrediences, too, which makes it more than a big surprise. On top of that, there is a great voice (Richard "Moon" Calhoun). "Set Me Free" is a great first impression. (MS)
