"Keep Crawlin In The Mud", the 1993 debut of Swiss hard rock outfit MUD SLICK is rereleased. Back then they were often compared to acts like JACKYL, SKID ROW, GOTTHARD, SHAKRA or VAN HALEN but they fell victim to the grunge wave unfortunately. Ten massive hard rock tracks with powerful riffs, driving rhythyms and an irresistable attitude are showcased allover this record. The great and pretty cool "Manhunt" is a monster track and basically the blueprint of a timeless rock chartbreaker. It's a shame that after one more record the band called it a day few years later for a long time. (MS)
