Hitten - State Of Rock - Revisited (CD Slipcase)

Beautiful old school metal from Spain. HITTEN rerelease their 2016 album "State Of Shock" and the ten newly with the current line-up recorded tracks rock like hell. The second album of the band is partly reminiscent of RIOT, CRIMSON GLORY or SAVAGE GRACE. Apart from the catchy title track, "Liar" takes no prisoners with its irresistable riffing. But also the opener "Wrong Side Of Heaven", which starts with some acoustic guitars, is a true smasher. The production is pretty authentic,  highlighting the compositions in a very nice way. HITTEN do have some exotic touch in the metal world but they have to be taken seriously, though. (MS)
